The CEWE PHOTO BOOK Assistant: A real time saver!

A unique feature of the CEWE PHOTO BOOK Software is our intelligent CEWE PHOTO BOOK Assistant. The Photo Book Assistant helps you select a cover type, backgrounds, layouts and images and compiles your individual CEWE PHOTO BOOK in seconds. The Assistant can also help you when making changes to settings.

After choosing the size of your CEWE PHOTO BOOK the assistant will immediately open in a new window. Drag the images or folders into the assistant, choose the covertype, average number of images per page and the total number of pages of your CEWE PHOTO BOOK. Click on »Create« and the assistant will create your CEWE PHOTO BOOK.

How do I use the CEWE PHOTO BOOK Assistant? 

How it works:

The Assistant window shows all your local folders on the left hand side of the screen. Select your images / image folders and drag the images or image folders onto the white area on the right.

You will then see thumbnails of your selected images. You can add additional images or folders contining images till the photo book is full. 

You can delete a single image or multiple images from the selection. Just select these images and click on the button »Delete Images from selection«. The »Level of fullness« shows to which extent the selected images will fill your CEWE PHOTO BOOK. If the level of fullness is red, you have selected to many images. The assistent will evaluate every image and only use the best images for your CEWE PHOTO BOOK. 

Which options can I choose?

The CEWE PHOTO BOOK Assistant allows you to set your preferences:

Tab »Images«:

• This screen allows you to select the cover type for your CEWE PHOTO BOOK. Depending on the format you have chosen you can select from an customizable hard or soft cover, booklet, linen cover or faux leather cover.
• Based on the number of images you want to use in your CEWE PHOTO BOOK the assistant will recommend the total number of pages and the average number of images per page. Every CEWE PHOTO BOOK contains at least 26 pages. You can increase or decrease (in steps of 8 pages) the total number of pages for the book at any time during the compilation process. 
• You can change the average number of images per page by moving the sliding bar.

Tab »Preferences«:

• Automatic image selection:
  Should your selection include more images than the CEWE PHOTO BOOK can accomodate then an automatic image selection process will take place. You can choose from the various options of this image selection process. 
  
  
• Backgrounds:
  By default the assistant uses white backgrounds on every page. Other background options such as e.g. »black backgrounds«, »subtle backgrounds« or »vivid backgrounds« are available to choose from.
  
  
• Layouts:
  Besides the default setting »largest images possible per page« you can select additional parameters for the layout of you CEWE PHOTO BOOK.

Try the various options and see how the CEWE PHOTO BOOK Assistant will change your CEWE PHOTO BOOK. Manual changes are possible at any time!

What does the Assistant do?

The CEWE PHOTO BOOK Assistent recomends the settings depending on the number of images you would like to have in your CEWE PHOTO BOOK. The assistant shows you the recommended settings, e.g. on how many pages your images would be distributed and what would be the average number of images per page. You can alter these suggestions at any time.

Once you click the »Create« button the assistant will evaluate and create your CEWE PHOTO BOOK according to the preferences you have selected. Within seconds you see a first version of your CEWE PHOTO BOOK. You can preview your book and if necessary make any changes / add text to the cover and the inner pages.

How can I edit my CEWE PHOTO BOOK?

Once the assistant has created your CEWE PHOTO BOOK you can edit the cover and every single page.

a) Classic Version
The Classic Software Version immediately opens the CEWE PHOTO BOOK Editor when the assistant has compiled your book.

b) Aero Version
The Aero Software Version starts a preview when the assistant has compiled your CEWE PHOTO BOOK. By clicking on the »Edit« button in the middle of the bottom navigation you can switch to the edit mode.
